Dea Rosa S/S Collection Wanderlista

Dea Rosa presenta la sua collezione Spring/Summer 2012, chiamata “Wanderlista”.

“Essere una Wanderlista non riguarda il budget o la portata del viaggio, ma è, bensì, un modo di essere.”così la Creative Director Andria Mitsakos definisce la sua collezione in cui ogni singolo pezzo risuona come il nome di un vento ed è pronto a essere trasportato lontano, salpando per un viaggio nell’Egeo.

Mitsakos riesce a catturare l’essenza stessa dell’Egeo, come il sole estivo nelle magiche ore del giorno gioca con i venti che soffiano in migliaia di forme. I venti in Grecia sono portatori di sogni, rinfrescano, creano e ci mostrano il nostro futuro. I loro nomi mitici incantano persone, luoghi, navi, sirene, Zefyros, Apilotis, Evros, Livas, Maistros.

In questa collezione, sono proposti i pezzi chiave in viaggio: una borsa adatta a essere portata sempre con se, una pochette a busta oversize, una borsa da mare piatta e perfetta per essere messa valigia, una semplice clutch che si chiude con una zip e una piccola borsa da sera. Questi pezzi vengono proposti in struzzo, pitone, lucertola e per alcune si gioca anche al color-blocking con delle combinazioni di canvas e pelli esotiche. Nella collezione non poteva mancare un accessorio da viaggio pronto a diventare un must-have: la mascherina per gli occhi in pitone che, come dice la designer stessa, è perfetta se si vuole dormire durante le lunghe ore di volo.

Dea Rosa presents its new 2012 spring/summer collection called “wanderlista”. «Being a wanderlista is not about the budjet or about how far away you go but, on the contrary, is just a way of being» These are the words that Andria Mitsakos used to describe her collection whose single item is named after the winds and is ready to be taken far distant, sailing for a trip around the Eagean sea.

Mistakos was able to capture the essence itself of Eagean sea: the magic sun in the summer, playng with the winds which blow in thousands of different shapes. Greek winds are dream inspirers and refreshing. They create and show us our future. Their mythical names enchant people, places, ships, mermaids, Zephyros, Apilotis, Evros, Livas, Maistros.

Every single piece of the collection is suggested as a must-have for travelling: a handbag suitablr for any occasion, an oversized clutch, a flat bag for the beach, perfect to be put into your lugguage, a zip-up clutch, a small bag for the nightlife. The creator chose to use different loth and fabrics for her collection: python, ostrich and lizard abd some of them she played with colors and the result is a wonderful combination of canvas and exotic leathers. She couldn't fail to suggest the next season must-have: a python eye-musk thet, as the creator herself defines, is appropriate for those who wants to take a nap during long flights!
